The Akathist to the Theotokos is chanted at 7:30 PM on the first five Fridays of Great Lent.

Canon of St. Andrew

A portion of the Canon of Saint Andrew of Crete is chanted at 7:30 PM on the first Monday of Great Lent. The entire Canon is chanted at 7:30 PM on Wednesday of the fifth week.

When the feast of St. Cosmas falls during the week, our formal celebration with hierarchical Liturgy and festive meal is transferred to the Sunday before or after. Our services for the feast itself follow the normal schedule for a weekday feast.

When the feast of St. Cosmas falls on the weekend, we hold our celebration on the feast itself.
